Specialist-Practice Operations

Job Description

Overview

Provides support in administration and operations for the organization and reports to the Practice Administrator. This position will be in charge of data tracking, analysis and reporting, physician schedules, onboarding of new providers, maintain student tracking and scheduling, manage projects and other administrative tasks.  This position will work with all levels of management and physicians to accomplish goals. Provides interim managerial support in the absence of the Practice Administrator.

 Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 1-2 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred.

Necessary Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
