Vice President-Enterprise Resource Planning

Job Description

Overview

The Vice President for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) will provide overall responsibility and accountability for developing, managing, and improving the ERP system across the organization. This leader will work with cross-functional teams to determine the appropriate enterprise solutions for inclusion such as finance, human resources, and supply chain. They will maintain collaborative relationships with the ERP vendor, internal and external ERP implementation professionals and analysts, internal end-users, and other project partners. The Vice President will assist executives in defining how best to use the ERP to meet organizational goals and strategic plans.

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

  • Bachelors degree required. Masters preferred.  
  • 10+ years of relevant management experience in a business or clinical systems environment and familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies, system implementations and workflow analysis.
  • 7+ years of ERP experience in a large organization.
  • Expert knowledge in cloud based enterprise solutions within a hosted environment.
  • Experience developing a steady state multi-disciplinary support team using measurable delivery methods and tools.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects involving multiple customers, interests and goals.
  • Budget management authority and financial management experience is required.
  • Experience with contractor and vendor management.
  • Experience with LEAN methods and visual management.
  • Oracle and Kronos platform experience.
  • Ability to develop performance score cards on ERP support and project delivery.
  • Strong proven transformational and complex, matrixed leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations and executing) to champion achieving the vision of the organization.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Vice President – IS Applications and PMO  

Direct reports: 5 Director level and 1 Manager level
