IU Health Home Care provides patients with comprehensive care delivered by a highly trained interdisciplinary team. The IU Health Ball Memorial Home Care RN will provide skilled care in patient’s homes in Muncie and the surrounding counties. The traditional, complementary, alternative, and holistic services that our Home Care professionals offer add to our patient’s overall quality of life.

Our nurses experience a team approach to serving patients as well as the flexibility and autonomy to do their jobs and provide patients with individualized care. We provide one on one patient centered care and education as well as critical thinking and clinical skills. Examples of the care you will provide include infusions, line care, catheter care, wound care, VAC management, chronic disease process management and education. The skill set and case management experience that this position offers provides endless self-satisfaction and reward to home care nurses.

M-F 8am-4:30pm.  Some on-call requirements based on census.

Our Home Health RN's are offered competitive compensation, consistent with all RN positions across the IU Health system, including shift differentials.

IU Health Home Health RNs are eligible to receive a bonus with each pay period based on quality and productivity. If nurses meet quality standards and maximize patient-facing hours, they can earn up to $9,100 per year in addition to base salary.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
