The Ambulatory Manager will oversee clinical operations for Pediatric Pulmonary & Allergy and Sleep Medicine, located within the Riley Outpatient Center and IU Health North, Medical Office Buidling, and will oversee 27 RNs and 7 Medical Assistants. This position is integral to the expansion of services across the organization and state and will work closely with the Riley sleep labs and pulmonary function lab.
The Manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. Accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an interprofessional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards. Preferred attributes are as follows: self-motivated, critical thinker, efficient, effective communicator and listener, organized, and can create a culture of inclusivity to foster engagement.
