We are currently seeking experienced RNs to join our Resource Center team in Indianapolis! The Resource Center provides the opportunity to gain experience working in a variety of departments in a Magnet designated facility as well as the regions Pathway to Excellence designated facilities.  Seeking RNs with a minimum of 3 years experience. Experience in ICU or PCU preferred. Prefer a speciality certification requirement after 2 years of hire

We are currently seeking experienced RNs to join our Resource Center team in Methodist Hospital & University Hospital!  At Methodist and University our PCU RN's also go to Med/Surg floors. Our Med/Surg RN's only go to Med/Surg floors.  The Resource Center provides the opportunity to gain experience working in a variety of departments in a Magnet designated facility as well as the regions Pathway to Excellence designated facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. 
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. 
• Requires Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.

Once hired to a department, alongside nursing orientation, all new graduate nurses in their first nursing role will have the opportunity to participate in a Nurse Residency Program called "Transition to IU Health Nursing Practice." The Nurse Residency program goals are to provide socialization and support, enhance clinical judgment, and promote professional development.
