Job Description


Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, claim submission, third party follow up, denial appeal and recovery, communicating with insurance, patients and other departments, meeting departmental productivity, quality and service standards in support of operational goals.  Assisting Customer Service department.  Ability to meet requirements to work remotely and attend onsite meetings.

Analyze unpaid medical claims and work to resolve (to receive payment) in the most efficient manner. This includes filing appeals on claim denials, communication with insurance, patients and other departments.

  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
