Job Description

Overview

IU Health Paoli is a Critical Access hospital serving Orange and surrounding counties. We are proud to be recognized by the ANCC as a Pathway to Excellence facility that is committed to creating a positive practice environment that empowers and engages our team. Our OB unit utilizes a LDRP model. We have 4 Labor and Delivery Rooms, and 1 Cesarean Recovery room.

We offer a full range of OB services including natural labor support, hydrotherapy, epidural placement, cesarean sections (performed in our surgical services department), Level 1 Well Baby Nursery, Lactation Support, Postpartum Rooming-in Couplet Care. Certification is encouraged and supported. ACLS and NRP required, can be obtained upon hire.

  • Requires an Associate's of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • One year of OB, Labor & Delivery, and/or NICU experience preferred.
