This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

Additional Information

  • Hours: 10:30AM – 7:00PM EST
  • Remote: Position is work from home, but team member must have the flexibility and availability to come into the office located Eastside of Indianapolis, IN as needed (and at your own expense) for training, department meetings, etc.
  • Starting rate: $18/hour (commensurate with relevant experience [resume must be linked to application], with upward succession into leadership) 

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
