We have exciting nursing opportunities in our IU Health West Hospital Acuity Adaptable- Progressive Care Unit.

The AAU/PCU has 32 private rooms for patients with a variety of diagnoses including cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, hematology/oncology and gastrointestinal with the goal being to minimize patient movement and create improved continuity of care.  This new construction, with open lines of sight and private rooms, was created by the care team and patients to allow for ease of work for clinicians and increased patient comfort.

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

• Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
