Experience Design Consultant

Job Description

Overview

Supports excellence in healthcare by working with IU Health teams to improve the patient, customer and team member experience in various clinical, retail and community health settings.

Responsible for supporting experience design capabilities and practices related to customer research, reporting, insight analysis and experience design projects. Consistently looks for opportunities to use Voice of the Customer to inform deliverables, support the development of recommendations and establish best practice standards for our business units.

Assists with facilitation of cross functional groups to standardize how we approach customer experience consistently across all points of care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Service or Experience Design, Informatics, Human Factors/Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Behavior Economics education/background preferred

 Bachelors Degree Required. Degree in Service Management, Business, or healthcare or service related field preferred.
• Master Preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a service or healthcare related industry preferred.
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment.
• Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions.
