The Registered Nurse works with a small team that handles mostly endoscopy procedures. Some gynecological and general surgical as well. Experience in endoscopy and OR preferred. This position requires the performance of surgical care of patients on any add on surgical case. The procedures fall into the categories of immediate life threatening to elective cases. The nurse will assist with maintaining the sterile field that has the supplies, instruments and equipment needed for the patient. The nurse will assess and be the patient advocate and document the plan of care during the surgery.
Shift for this position is days, Monday through Friday. Days worked depends on schedule. No weekends, holidays or on call required.
