Senior Financial Analyst (Capital Planning)

Job Description

Overview

Supports prudent financial management and capital planning of system assets through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and modeling. Acts as a liaison between Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), System Finance, System Operations and Regional Financial Leadership for the development, implementation, and support of EAM’s integration into the capital planning process. Performs monthly and/or ad hoc reporting, prepares pro formas based on historical, comparative, and projection data.  Provides accurate analysis to support capital purchase recommendations and impact based decision making.  Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy. Prepares communications and makes presentations on solution alternatives and system enhancements.  
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Requires 2+ years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience.
• Requires analytical experience working with complex data sets.
• Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
