Indiana University Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our East Central Region Center of Hope. Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients.

Center of Hope:

Serves all victims of violent crimes who present to our Hospital.

• Sexual Violence
• Human Trafficking
• Intimate Partner Violence (IVP)
• Interpersonal Violence
• Child Neglect/Physical Abuse
• Elder and Vulnerable Person Abuse/Neglect
• Trauma
• Mass Disaster

Our COH Nurses primarily work in the Emergency Department, but respond to all areas of the hospital when needed. COH Nurses collaborate with law enforcement to collect specimens for legal purposes. COH Nurses provide medical/forensic care that is tailored to each patient. COH Nurses provide education to patients and referrals to multiple community partners. Additionally, COH Nurses partner with our Trauma Program to provide child passenger safety car seat inspections and fittings.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
