Virtual Care Manager

Job Description

Overview

Assists Virtual Care leaders in planning, directing and overall operations within their areas of responsibility. Manages the ongoing development, implementation, and performance outcomes to improve efficiency of responsible programs. Oversees the day-to-day supervision in assigned patient services areas, financial management and equipment adequacy of their assigned areas. Maintains optimal communication and collaboration between clinical staff, physicians, administration, external customers and appropriate health system staff to ensure service delivery that exceeds the needs and expectations of customer bases towards service excellence.

  • Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Cerner applications
  • Ability to innovative and adaptable to new models of care
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills

Collaboration - Proactively collaborates with others to find innovative business solutions. Actively contributes to team(s), and leads the achievement of team and organizational goals. Works across multiple teams, often in a matrix environment. Involves others in decisions and plans, and credits them for their contributions and accomplishments.

Provides exemplary customer service to internal and external customers by being proactive, responsive and encouraging teamwork. Customer Focus - Designs and delivers strategies that place customers at the center of business decisions. Consistently identifies current and future customer needs and ensures the effective delivery of high quality and value added solutions, products, and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Ethical Practice - Maintains confidentiality as appropriate, earns trust and respect of others, and exhibits behaviors that express the ethical practice of a healthcare organization. Mitigates unintended consequences through careful analysis and observation of business practices. Serves as a role model and positively influences managerial integrity and accountability.
