Job Description

Overview

IU Health North is looking for a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our team! This individual should have a strong desire to expand pelvic floor knowledge to provide pelvic health physical therapy to all genders, ages, and individuals across the lifespan. Applicants must have completed a minimum of Level 1 pelvic floor CE course and 1 year of clinical experience. Women's Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) certification or Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) preferred but not required. Our team member will provide physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

This is a full time opportunity to work with a large team of pelvic floor therapists.

Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in physical therapy.

• If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with education equivalent coursework, accepted by Indiana PLA.

• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

• Advanced life support certifications, may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

• Training and orientation provided.
