Job Description

Overview

Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel. Manages operational functions to include but not limited to: customer satisfaction, administrative responsibilities, information, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance and all patient care within radiology imaging. Manages ongoing analysis, develop and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiencies and effectiveness of services and functions. Serves as a liaison between the department and physicians, nurses and other organization departments.
 Basic Life Support Certification required. Requires registration through one or more of the following professional organizations: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). 5 - 7 years leadership experience is required. Requires knowledge of state and federal laws relative to assigned area.
• 3 - 5 years of formal training in Radiological Technology at an accredited institution. Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Requires registration through one or more of the following professional organizations: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). Minimum of 5 - 7 years leadership experience required.
