IU Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our East Central Region Cardiac Procedures Unit.  This is a small and highly specialized department. We work closely with and enjoy good relationships with our physicians. Because of the highly specialized nature of the work, we achieve a high level of teamwork and camaraderie. Critical care or cardiac background is preferred, but not required. This position does not require weekends, holidays, or call shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

• Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. 

• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. 

• Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse. 

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. 

• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
