RCS Business Analyst

Job Description

Overview

Apply for an RCS Business Analyst in Indianapolis (both onsite and remote requirements)!

In this role, the RCS Analyst will work closely with all RCIS, RCS, and CIS departments to lead location governance initiatives and changes. This position will be a key Revenue Cycle player in reviewing location governance requests for accuracy of location build, provider enrollment, and bill area/division requests. Work with service line leaders, account executives, and project managers to obtain all necessary information for RCIS application build. Task RCIS teams for build work within Cherwell, Footprints, and Email. Work with project managers to provide build updates and ensure work has been completed from an RCIS perspective. Represent RCS on location governance calls. Identify current gaps/issues within current process where we can improve or enhance workflows!

Required experience:

  • IU Health IS workflow Experience
  • IU Health Revenue Cycle Services (charging, billing, claim generation)
  • Experience with IUH Location Governance Process
  • Cerner build/workflow experience including location build, registration/scheduling, charge services
  • IDX experience – high level understanding of bill areas and system navigation
  • High level understanding of provider enrollment and credentialing processes

 Bachelor's degree preferred. Requires proficiency in MS Excel and Access. Experience in a healthcare, accounting or corporate finance setting strongly preferred.
• Requires ability to work with all levels of healthcare management and staff.
• Requires basic knowledge of finance and statistics (ROI; NPV; risk; etc.).
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires exceptional interpersonal; problem-solving; and analytic skills.
• Requires the ability to work independently.
• Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
• Requires the ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships.
• Requires the ability to prioritize, track and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Requires the ability to perform in a fast paced environment.
