Job Description

Overview

Shifts Available:

Shift: Monday- Friday (06:00- 4:30), no holidays

Call Responsibilities: There are call responsibilities (managed via text or phone, rarely by staffing coverage)

 

About the Position:

This is a team lead position dedicated to supporting the Respiratory Therapy Equipment Technician teams throughout the downtown Indianapolis, IN area. This team member will be supporting University, Methodist, and Riley Children's Hospital. Qualified team members will hold a valid Respiratory Therapy Practitioner License but will not have direct patient care responsibilities.

 

 Requires current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
• Requires graduation from a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) and regionally accredited respiratory care program.
• Requires that the N.B.R.C. registry exam be passed within 13 months of hire date.
• Requires Healthcare Provider BLS. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Preferred ACLS; PALS; and/or NRP certification. RRT;RCP;BLS RPSGT;RRT-NPS;SDS Requires 3-5 years experience in Respiratory Care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Independent judgment and the ability to facilitate integration of evidence based information into practice.
