Job Description

Overview

Provides general office support and serves as a liaison between Expressions, clients and their families. Processes Expressions supply orders for home medical equipment and supplies. Determines eligibility prior to dispensing supply orders. Assists clients in making appropriate choices for medical supplies. Reconciles cash drawers, records deposits. May communicate on occasion with physician offices, hospital staff and community agencies. Serves as a resource to external and internal customers.
 Requires HS Grad or GED Equivalent.
• Experience or knowledge of home care including DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and HME (Home Medical Equipment) preferred.
• Certification as lactation counselor preferred.
• Certification as a certified mastectomy fitter preferred.
• Experience working with computers and use of various software programs.
• Knowledge of ICD10 and HCPC coding.
• Knowledge of third party payer guidelines.
• Knowledge of billing procedures.
• Ability to organize and process a high volume of work within established standards.
