Job Description

Overview

Responsible for performing technical and administrative support in all aspects of the payer enrollment process including government and contracted commercial payer plans. Acts as resource to clinical divisions and other billing staff regarding enrollment process. Works closely with Director of Operations ensuring all new and existing providers are enrolled in all applicable billing areas that provide services for the Department of Pediatrics. Communicates problems or concerns to Director of Operations for any payer or provider issue regarding the enrollment process.

 

  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician credentialing/enrollment strongly preferred
  • Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations
  • Requires high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives
