Saxony is a 44-bed hospital that includes six operating rooms, a full emergency department, a helipad for medical transport, cardiac catheterization labs, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, sleep lab and a medical office complex with medical and surgical specialty clinics. As a Level One Heart Attack Program, Saxony Hospital offers the only 24/7 coverage for urgent heart care in the town of Fishers, and is are also home to the IU Health Hip and Knee Center, a destination specialty program focused on total joint replacement and revision, including physician fellowship education and research

Under pharmacist supervision, the Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacy department in one or more of the following areas: inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, processing of medications and supplies, specialty medications, and medication histories. Assists with all functions required for medication processing including answering telephones, taking refill orders, entering orders into system, preparing the medication for pharmacist check, preparing medications for disbursement/shipment/delivery. Key job duties may consist of handling supplies, stocking prepackaged items, maintaining inventory, delivering supplies, maintaining records, distributing supplies. May assist in bulk compounding and preparation of I.V. solutions. Works with pharmacy staff to minimize the potential for medication errors.
This is a PRN rotating shift Monday-Friday opportunity! No weekends!
