Overview
The Director-Team Member Experience designs communications and organizes centralized efforts to enhance and maintain an engagement-focused, purpose-driven culture. The Director is responsible for enhancing the employee retention and recognition efforts, the onboarding and employee training processes, and employee engagement efforts. Develops and maintains the team member engagement strategy. In partnership with System Centers of Excellence, the incumbent designs programs to foster engagement, such as employee recognition and retention programs, onboarding excellence, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace environment. Th leader is responsible for internal employee communications and shaping corporate culture. The position collaborates across various expert teams to focus on important activities such as but not limited to the following: engagement support, communications, employee development, recognition, team activities/connectivity, and more. The Director leads a team for a range of centralized operational work including: weekly orientation and onboarding events, temporary staffing program management, website content management, newsletters and business partner ops alerts, executive communications, facility signage, performance metrics, targeted engagement coaching, and large scale leadership development events. The role collaborates with operational leaders to identify and implement improvement initiatives to address unique departmental challenges for overall employee retention and turnover. The leader is a champion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as well as Culture and Values to execute or support targeted initiatives. The incumbent reports out to executives regularly, addresses the monthly management team to inform/instruct/train, and serves as a consultant on implementation approach and standard procedures for initiatives that span front/middle/back.
