Overview

Apply for an Analyst- Applications Intermediate role with IU Health! This will be a hybrid role that will require onsite coverage in Indianapolis with some remote opportunities throughout the week. Hours will be M-F 8-5pm with some on-call rotation shared with team members. This role will be part of the Clinical Informatics department within the Population Health team. 

 This role will serve the inpatient acute care management team and the Cerner Acute Case Management solution. Preferred previous experience would include:

  • Discharge planning involving home care, durable medical equipment
  • Hospital at Home
  • Readmission risk attributes
  • Utilization review and management
  • Denials prevention
  • Payor EMR access
  • Previous EMR or Software configuration

Additional duties included but not limited to: Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades hospital information systems hardware and software under general supervision. Administers and maintains security of operating systems. Provides operational support for the organization's information systems, peripheral equipment, and clinical applications. Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware. Solves moderately complex problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•3-5 years of experience required.
• Prefers experience with databases or clinical applications.
• Requires knowledge of multi-application and system interdependencies.
