TQM Document Specialist Specifications


Overview of Position

This position is specific to a Document Specialist with the primary focus of tracking metrics for special projects related to HCC work performed by TQM Physician Coding across the IU Health system. This position will be primarily responsible for tracking daily metrics related to multiple projects and providing weekly and monthly summaries of the information to management. The qualified candidate must be able to work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner, adapt to changes in projects if necessary and assist the HCC team of reviewers and Program Manager.



The following qualifications must be met to qualify for consideration of this position.

ü High School degree

ü Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel including sorting spreadsheets, extracting data, and inputting data

ü Expert knowledge of other Microsoft programs, such as Teams, Word, Power Point, and Outlook

ü Strong written and verbal communication skills

ü Works well as a team and has a positive collaborative attitude



The following are not required qualifications, but preferred.

ü Knowledge in creating graphs and visual aids on metrics from data

ü Proficiency in Healthcare billing systems including Centricity

ü Proficiency in Healthcare EMRs including Cerner
