Job Description

Overview

The Oncology Service Line Leader serves as an influential and strategic leader across the service line in the Indianapolis Suburban Region. This position is responsible for the long-term vision and execution of patient service integration across the core departments for the assigned service line, which includes the Schwarz Cancer Center. The leader is responsible for increasing market share by leading collaborative and strategic partnerships with program leaders, hospital leadership and physicians to optimize patient experience in results, efficiencies, and value. Through the incumbent's efforts, the service line will become known as a preeminent level of service in the community and a values-based option patients seek out when deciding upon their healthcare needs.

This role will have oversight in both North and West Hospitals in Carmel and Avon. 

Reports to: Vice President – Chief Operations Officer, Indianapolis Suburban Region

Direct reports: Two Operations Directors

 Bachelors Degree required in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
• Masters Preferred.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge and experience in designated service line area.
• Familiarity with current research on appropriate level of care for assigned service level.
