Program Manager - Finance

Job Description

Overview

Performs financial analysis including monthly forecast and budget variance analysis. Standardizes financial reporting for all strategic projects - format, metrics, and standard practice for analysis. Produces capital/expense cash flow projections, and other financial analytics to support capital budgeting decision. Analyzes significant variances and holds monthly review meetings with business partners to review variances and develop plans to mitigate gaps. Prepares complex financial models including short-term and long-term financial and statistical forecasts with historical comparisons. Organizes and facilitates monthly forecast meetings with project stakeholders and assists with the understanding of financial implications of decisions. Analyzes, tracks, reports, and presents major components of the budget including fringe benefit, insurance, utilities, depreciation, capital expenditures, volume, capacity, revenue deduction, and inflation assumptions. Performs financial analysis (including NPV, ROI, and cash flow, where applicable) that compares budgets and proposals to targets. Prepares and deploys status reports to key users that provide meaningful information on projects, budgets and budget variances, statistics, and productivity.

Analysis - Thoroughly analyzes problems and opportunities, and their impact on the business. Takes into account all fact-based and stakeholder information in order to evaluate alternatives and make judgment-rich decisions. Probes symptoms to determine the underlying causes of problems and then integrates information from a variety of sources to arrive at optimal solutions.

 Bachelor's Degree required.
• Requires CPA, Master's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Requires 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Requires outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).
• Requires ability to maintain positive working relationships across departments/divisions.
• Self-starter in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities.
• Oracle or comparable HRIS experience.
• Progressive experience using accounting, finance, budget, strategic planning, business intelligence, and decision support tools.
• Experience preparing and navigating consolidating financial reports including an understanding of consolidation rules.
• Previous experience in the development of large organizational budgets with many departments.
