Apply for a fully remote Intermediate Data Science Analyst with IU Health! This will be a full-time role working M-F approximately 8a-4:30pm.
This role will utilize and grow one’s practical approach to solving nuanced business problems using a variety of data-related technologies. Common tools include SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, Microsoft Excel/Pivot tables, and SQL, but additional programming knowledge, such as Python, R, or Visual Basic, may be helpful in the development of insights and/or an efficient technical solution. Applicants should have a strong willingness to learn complex subject matter so as to become embedded resources within the problem-solving process.
Additional duties include but not limited to working directly with external and internal customers to provide timely and accurate reports, analysis, and data discovery services. Identifies, cleanses, and integrates disparate data sources. Assists with design and maintenance of the Business Intelligence (BI) framework. Identifies appropriate information delivery vehicles. Creates reports, dashboards, and interactive solutions to meet the information needs of assigned clinical and/or operational areas. Ensures the accurate and effective use of financial and operational data that may be relied upon by the organization.

• 3-5 Years of experience in leveraging at least 2 of the technologies listed above (or technologies of similar function) required
• Preferred experience in the healthcare industry (knowledge of IC-10 diagnoses, CPT procedure codes, Medicare/Medicaid).
• Requires analytical capabilities; statistical or mathematic background preferred as well as experience with MS SQL Server and MS SSRS skills.
• Experience using Tableau, Qlikview, Business Objects, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools required.
• Ability to navigate complex, technical projects.
