Are you ready for an exciting and enriching experience, working alongside some of the brightest minds in healthcare? Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic marketing intern to join our team and further our vision of making Indiana one of the nation’s healthiest states.

The System Marketing Team for Specialty Care supports the achievement of business unit marketing objectives through the development and execution of effective brand plans, identifying and implementing marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The marketing intern will provide support in the development of marketing communications materials and resources aligned with the marketing campaigns for the Adult Medical Center and Specialty Care. Other projects and areas of focus may be assigned as needed in support of specialty care at IU Health.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and will possess the ability to manage projects with sound methodologies, guidelines and attention to detail.

The marketing organization at IU Health is comprised of many different teams and focus areas, including system and service line marketing, regional marketing, digital marketing, patient experience, research and analytics, destination services, social media, internal and corporate communications, public relations and more, which offers many unique opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.

The System Specialty Care Marketing internship is for the 2022 Summer semester and will be primarily work remote until further notice due to COVID-19, though there may be potential for some onsite work at the marketing office in downtown Indianapolis. The internship begins in June and runs through August.

  • Requires current enrollment in a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree Program
  • Majors may include: Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business Management, or similar
  • GPA of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
