Are you ready for an exciting and enriching experience, working alongside some of the brightest minds in healthcare? Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to join the Corporate Communications team this summer.
The Corporate Communication internship at IU Health is designed to provide an opportunity to identify connections between relevant education and/or interest in communications as a possible career. Specifically, the internship experience provides an opportunity to explore a potential career path.
The Corporate Communications intern will learn how to support multiple internal communication channels and can expect to gain experience in leadership and team-focused communications using both high-tech and low-tech approaches. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to and support broad-based communications across IU Health, the state’s largest healthcare system.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for writing and storytelling and have a grasp of AP style. They should be a self-starter, curious, open-minded, highly organized, resourceful and a strong collaborator, with keen attention to detail and a willingness to master the art of project management. Bonus if they are interested in healthcare!
The marketing organization at IU Health is comprised of many different teams and focus areas, including system and service line marketing, regional marketing, digital marketing, patient experience, research and analytics, destination services, social media, internal and corporate communications, public relations and more. This offers interns many unique opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.
The Corporate Communications internship is for the 2022 Summer semester. The internship begins in late-May or early-June, depending upon candidate availability, and runs through August, with the opportunity to extend into the Fall semester. The intern will work primarily remote until further notice due to COVID-19, but occasional on-site opportunities may be available at one of our downtown Indianapolis locations when safe and appropriate.
