We have an exciting and rewarding day shift opportunity available on our B4-Medical Progressive Care unit at Methodist Hospital! This 24 bed ICU stepdown unit provides hands on care for complex medical patients with stroke, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell, acute/end stage liver failure, alcohol withdrawal and substance abuse overdose, along with a multitude of other co-morbidities. We have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our patient's lives.

The Registered Nurse will reflect the mission, vision, and values of Indiana University Health, adhere to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance, and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The RN is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and improve operational efficiency. This individual will adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
Minimum Requirements:
