We have a rewarding full-time night shift opportunity available on our 4N- Adult Medical Liver/GI unit at University Hospital! This unit specializes as a GI/Liver Medical/Surgical Unit caring for patients with Chronic Liver disease, pancreatitis, and other GI related disorders. Our nurses use critical thinking as they support high acuity patients. Nurses will build upon of variety of skills such as IV’s, NG placement, G, J, GJ tubes, enternal/parental feeds, etc.

Our Adult Medical Liver/GI unit is fast paced with strong team collaboration. Our nurses will be able to educate patients with illness and their families while building professional relationships. The nurses on this unit provide a positive attitude with the ability to consistently learn and grow their skills and knowledge. We have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our patient's lives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
