Job Description

Overview

Apply for an Analyst- Information Services Clinical Intermediate opening with IU Health! This position provides coverage between 8am and 5:30pm M-F and is assigned an 8.5-hour shift within that time frame.  Currently, there is no on call and no weekend coverage.  This role will be located onsite in Indianapolis with some remote opportunities after thorough training!

This role is a customer service position for the Clinical IS Service Desk and is in a fast-paced environment.  We are looking for candidates who are experienced as a Cerner user, Cerner support (preferred), Customer Service, Clinical experience, and are experienced with Microsoft office applications use (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel). Other duties include but not limited to performs ongoing system support, administration, maintenance, and upgrades of clinical applications. Maintains up-to-date system test scripts and system documentation for assigned applications and functionality. Conducts on-site workflow assessments and identifies best practice standards. Analyzes, designs, and builds clinical applications to satisfy the needs of the user departments. Maintains a high level of interaction with all clinical areas to continually enhance/improve patient care.

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•3-5 years experience required using Cerner
• Requires current license/certification or eligibility (e.g. RN).
• Requires experience in a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing).
• Requires experience with clinical systems or experience implementing/supporting clinical systems.
