The Chaplain Educator teaches Clinical Pastoral Education programs, delivers of spiritual care services, and works collaboratively with other Pastoral Educators in the planning and administration of the overall educational program. Conducts Level I and Level II programs of Clinical Pastoral Education as well as programming for Certified Educator Candidates under the standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE).

Requires Bachelor's degree and a Master of Divinity degree or its equivalency from an accredited institution as certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains or cognate body with similar standards.
• Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of spiritual care experience in a related field.
• Requires certification with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) sufficient to independently supervise Level 1 and 2 CPE at the point of hire.
• Prefer board certification through the Association of Professional Chaplains, Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or a cognate body with similar certification standards.
• Requires certification as an ACPE Certified Educator by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education within 4 years of employment.
