Job Description

Overview

The Sales Director-Lab Outreach is accountable for the outcomes of the Laboratory Services Outreach sales effort including strategy and program development, policy and direction, and integration of services with stakeholder departments. The leader is responsible for financial planning and customer contracting, service delivery, quality assurance, customer experience and regulatory compliance relative to the Outreach effort. Financial results and operating budget performance must be achieved at or above target. The incumbent develops and maintains a growing sales pipeline and creates and executes action plans to ensure consistent new business-to-business sales. The Director continually evaluates the strengths of the sales team to build and retain an exemplary team to achieve service line sales goals.

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree is required.
• Clinical or laboratory medical technologist certification is preferred.
• Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience is required. Healthcare and/or insurance/benefits sales is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years sales leadership experience with direct people leadership responsibility is required.
• Requires experience managing multiple complex sales and services for multiple and varied customers (project management).
• Requires experience preparing and adhering to Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Service Level Attachments (SLAs) with stakeholders and
customers.
• Requires knowledge of state and federal laws and regulatory agencies and guidelines relative to assigned area.
