Job Description

Overview

Apply for a Clinical Informaticist opening with IU Health! This role will be located onsite at Riley hospital with up to 3 days per week remotely! The hours will be M-F 9-5 with occasional off-shift to support customers for project activations. This will be part of the IIS department within the Clinical Informatics team.

Come join a vibrant team of Clinical Informaticists and Analysts at the nationally recognized Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. On the Riley Clinical Informatics Team, you will optimize and support Clinical Information systems for our clinicians and end-users. This team is dedicated to providing our clinicians with high-quality support to better the clinical care of all Hoosiers. Other related duties include but not limited to supports the decision-making of healthcare consumers, nurses, and other professionals in all roles and settings to achieve healthcare consumer safety and advocacy. Supports data analytics, including quality of care measures, to improve population health outcomes and global health. Utilizes process improvement and change management skills to promote improved quality and process efficiencies through technology. Considers the impact of technological changes on patient safety, health-care delivery, quality reporting and the nursing process. Assists with the design and promotion of useful, innovative information technologies that advance practice and achieve desired outcomes.


 Bachelor's degree required, RN preferred.
• Clinical credentials/licensure and current Indiana licensure required.
• 3-5 years of clinical experience required.
• Experienced user of health information technology systems preferred.
