IU Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our East Central Region Inpatient Oncology Unit. Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients.

Oncology Unit: This 18 bed unit specializes in the care of patients with a diagnosis or history of cancer, end of life care, including Inpatient Hospice, and occasionally medical overflow.  As part of the Inpatient Oncology team, you will become chemotherapy trained and will have the opportunity to become an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN). We are committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care to our unique population of patients.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
