Apply for a Coach- Clinical Informatics Optimization role with IU Health! The hours for this role will be M-F approx 8-5pm with rotational on-call requirements (no weekend or overtime). There is opportunity to work 1 day remotely per week! This role will be part of the IS Informatics and Education department within the IUHP Clinical Informatics team.
The Clinical Informatics Optimization Coach will be responsible to train and support our physicians within the Indianapolis region, and their staff, on utilization and optimization of our EMR system. Applicants should have a high interest and some background in technology, and a passion for customer service with a strong emphasis in education and training. Other duties include but not limited to provides comprehensive support and analysis to optimize the adoption and utilization of the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Identifies gaps and inefficiencies related to workflow and usage of the EMR system. Collaborates with the Clinical Informatics team to support EMR system planning, implementation, and end user training. Designs, implements, and delivers training activities as well as end-user support to improve EMR system adoption and optimization. Maintains records of training activities and results.

• Ability to travel 10-15% within Indiana.
• Ability to work flexible hours (some overnight and weekend hours required).
• 3-5 years relevant clinical, healthcare, or training experience required, Cerner Electronic Medical Record experience preferred. EMR usage within an ambulatory setting—preferably Cerner EMR. Microsoft suite proficiency and customer service skills are also required
