Intermediate Analyst – Clinical Interoperability

Job Description

Apply for an Intermediate Analyst- Clinical Interoperability role with IU Health! This position will work M-F approx 8a-5p and will be located onsite in Indianapolis. This will be part of the Informatics and Information Services department within the Clinical Interoperability team!

This role supports the Clinical Interoperability team with a focus on enhancing the patient care experience by making healthcare information more accessible to all stakeholders in an efficient manner. Works on a team of analysts that support a portfolio of applications with a focus on transitions of care, information exchange, provider solutions and interoperability workflows.

  • Responsible for the support of Cerner applications including Message Center, Outside Record Viewer, Clinical Reporting, Referral Management, Ambulatory Reference Lab Network, and Mpages Reach.
  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and exchange partners to expand and improve the usability of healthcare data exchanged via Indiana Health Information Exchange, Direct Secure Messaging, CommonWell and Carequality.
  • Assesses interoperability regulations and supports the implementation of system and process changes to achieve compliance for programs including ONC’s 21st Century Cures Act, CMS Interoperability and Patient Access Rule, and Promoting Interoperability #LI-SL1

 

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience required (EHR experience required)
• Prefers experience with databases or clinical applications. Cerner Message Center experience is a plus.
• Requires knowledge of multi-application and system interdependencies.
