Apply for an Applications Analyst- Intermediate role with IU Health in Indianapolis! The hours for this role will be M-F approx 8-5pm with rotational on-call requirements (no weekend or overtime). There is opportunity to work 1 day remotely per week! This role will be part of the IS Informatics and Education department within the IUHP Clinical Informatics team.
Roles and responsibility of this position is to train and support our physicians within the Indianapolis region, and their staff, on utilization and optimization of our EMR system. Applicants should have a high interest and some background in technology, and a passion for customer service with a strong emphasis in education and training.
Other duties include but not limited to configures, installs, maintains and upgrades hospital information systems hardware and software under general supervision. Administers and maintains security of operating systems. Provides operational support for the organization's information systems, peripheral equipment, and clinical applications. Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware. Solves moderately complex problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

•3-5 years of experience required.
• Prefers experience with databases or clinical applications.
• Requires knowledge of multi application and system interdependencies. EMR usage within an ambulatory setting—preferably Cerner EMR. Microsoft suite proficiency and customer service skills are also required
