Apply for a Network Operation Center Engineer role with IU Health! This is a hybrid work role, two days on-site and two days remote work from home. This position works night shift Sunday through Wednesday from 10 PM to 8 AM the following morning.(4, 10-hour shifts) in the Network Operations Center, NOC! The position will support IU Health's data and VoIP network infrastructure, Network Security Platforms as well as VMWare Server and Cyber Security Operations events. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Monitoring and responding to Network infrastructure events
- Monitoring and responding to VoIP infrastructure events
- Monitoring and responding to Network Security platform events
- Monitoring and responding to Virtual Server events
- Monitoring and responding to Cyber Security platform events
- Responding to customer tickets and escalations
- Updating Network and VoIP infrastructure hardware and software
- Maintenance of Network & System Observability platforms
Experience with some of the following platforms is preferred: SolarWinds Orion, Cisco IOS, Cisco NxOS, Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Unity Connection, Cisco Contact Center Enterprise or Express, Cisco ISE, Cisco StealthWatch, Rapid7, VMware vSphere. Requirements Ideal candidate must have solid understanding of OSI Model.
• 3-5 years of experience required (Ideal candidate will be Cisco Certified in network or collaboration).
• Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
• Experience working with hypervisors and scripting required.
• Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.
• Cloud experience is preferred.
