Manager-Business Development and Outreach LifeLine

Job Description

Overview

The team member in this position will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive Business Development & Branding Strategy for LifeLine. There is a need to have a detailed knowledge and understanding of IU Health's and System Clinical Services strategic plan and be able to use this knowledge to increase LifeLine's volume and market share. Responsible for building relationships with current and potential customers. Customers are classified as, but are not limited to Greater Indiana EMS agencies, healthcare facilities, hospital staff, physicians, case managers, communication center staff and various community organizations. While this team member will work in a normal office environment, travel to the hospital locations, EMS agencies and Outreach events will be necessary. Work hours will vary depending upon the needs of the business and will include some evenings and weekends. Has 24/7 responsibilities for Business Development and Outreach services for LifeLine.
 Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Management or similar field of study or has relevant experience in the healthcare field. EMS or Nursing degree and experience in the medical transport industry preferred.
• Master's degree in related field encouraged. Strong computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office and related programs. Valid/Current Drivers Licenses.
• Certified Medical Transport Executive certificate within first three years of hire encouraged. Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience.
• Demonstrates success in sales and/or marketing role in the healthcare industry and experience working closely with Emergency Medical Services.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in the team environment.
• Requires attention to deadline; detail and accuracy.
• Requires ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation to consistently meet/exceed customer needs.
• Requires ability to exhibit extreme diplomacy in resolving negative experiences and problem solving.
