Overview

The Director will develop, implement, oversee, maintain and evaluate the Cradle Indy collective impact collaborative with the goal of reducing infant mortality throughout Marion County. The role builds and sustains a diverse coalition of stakeholders to implement a collective impact approach to reducing infant mortality.  The leader has oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the initiative and continued management of the overall operations, including budget, finance and funding. The Director collaborates with the Cradle Indy stakeholders to understand needs and goals, then establishes policy and direction for the initiative with accountability for results. The Director-Infant Mortality Initiative serves as a liaison between the community, healthcare, and other stakeholders.

• Masters Degree required; preferably MPA, MHA, MPH, MBA, or Organizational Leadership.
• Requires 7 years of experience in community collaboration and community engagement.
• Requires experience with program development, implementation, evaluation, and management.
• Prefer knowledge of community health and social determinants of health.
• Prefer knowledge of collective impact model, strategic doing, or other community engagement model.
• Prefer related experience with community organizations focusing on maternal and child health or relevant social services.
• Prefer experience collaborating with healthcare systems.
