Executive Director-Financial Planning

Job Description

Overview

The Executive Director-Financial Planning is responsible for the coordination, management, and delivery of the IU Health systems financial planning processes. The incumbent leads the organization's budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process and works closely with the Strategic Financial Planning & Analytics team as well as the Revenue Management team to ensure alignment on all planning and assumptions. The leader is accountable for dramatic and sustainable change in processes across the financial organization, primarily within rolling forecasts, budget, and long-range planning, to ensure IU Health’s financial processes align with or lead industry best practices. The Executive Director enables a high-performing organization through continual process improvement and adoption of appropriate best practices.

 Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's or CPA strongly preferred.
• Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Requires experience working with and presenting complex data analytics.
• Requires experience leading and implementing large scale process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.
• Requires experience successfully leading in a complex matrix environment.
• Requires knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulatory agency guidelines and laws.
