Job Description

Overview

Apply for a Administrative Intern role with IU Health! The working hours will be M-F approx 8-5pm with no weekends/on-call/overtime. This role will be part of the Nursing Administrative department within the Office of Patient and Family Engagement team.

This is a great learning and development opportunity for a senior undergraduate or graduate student seeking to deepen one’s understanding of a health system to operationalize the IU Health Voice of Customer (VoC) program. The candidate will partner to execute a VoC strategy with an emphasis on building a diverse and equitable feedback program. The candidate will gain professional healthcare experience working alongside the operational leader and team members on project management, development, and implementation of projects and resources that support the VoC program. The candidate will support in the collection, deciphering, and reporting of feedback to drive change.  The candidate will have an opportunity to participate in various internal and external meetings and will have exposure to projects at many levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have an interest in improving healthcare experiences, with a proven ability to build relationships, effectively communicate with key audiences in mind, produce positive and equitable outcomes, and support the building of team culture.  


 Requires current enrollment in an Associate's, Bachelor's, and/or Master's Degree Program.
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
