Job Description

The Imaging Services Supervisor will be working with the Manager and/or Director, is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel. Supervises Imaging Services personnel involved in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Diagnostics, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Vascular Lab, Interventional, Neurodiagnostics or Mammography procedures. Ensures department rules, regulations, procedures and protocols are properly followed.

 Requires satisfactory completion of an accredited, relevant training program.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Certification as required, per specific modality or valid Registered Nurse license from Indiana State Board of Health.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) required per specific modality.
• Requires knowledge of state and federal laws relative to assigned area.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
•5-7 years of experience, per specific modality, preferred.
