Job Description

Overview

The Program Manager supporting System Patient Access (SPA) - PreService is responsible for planning and leading complex initiatives and multiple projects both for the statewide Financial Clearance team as well as the system as a whole.  Determines, maintains, communicates, and manages project organization, prioritization, and strategic and tactical plans. Provides data tracking and analytics of financial performance and KPI’s and shares that data with executive leadership for reporting and decision making. Assists in the development of strategic plans for the system and leads the development of sustainable, documented processes to support the business. Executes on initiatives based on sound data and leads performance improvement initiatives. Develops, monitors, and reports on operational performance, trending analysis and market comparisons, and special projects related to growth and financial performance. Collaborates with management and peers, and works cross functionally across the system to continually identify and lead improvement initiatives.

  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Requires strong knowledge of business and reimbursement management with an undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Requires demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology concepts and processes.
  • Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings.
  • Requires the ability to organize and manage work to achieve performance expectations.
  • Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
  • Requires ability to manage within the confines of a budget.
  • Requires a passionate commitment to continuous performance improvement.
