Job Description

Overview

The Director- Pharmacy Managed Care negotiates reimbursement rates and contracts with commercial managed care organizations for a large hospital system. Able to use financial modeling outcomes and financial data bases to anticipate impact of the reimbursement changes to revenue. Monitors and tracks contract compliance and can effectively report results to senior leadership team as requested. Ensures a mechanism for the credentialing and enrollment of the organization's providers, in conjunction with operational and managed care contract requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelors Degree Required. Masters or JD Degree Preferred.
• Requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Requires minimum of 5-7 years experience successfully negotiating or litigating complex    Commercial or Medicare replacement or managed Medicaid or workers compensation, fee-for-service contracts or value based contracts.
