This is an Applications Analyst-Intermediation position on our Lab IS Anatomic Pathology and Outreach Solutions Team. The hours will be M-F with On-call rotation for after hours. Rare weekend or nights. This can be a remote position, Indianapolis based is not required. This position will aid in support and development within our Anatomic Pathology/Outreach Systems team, with focus on the Anatomic Pathology side. Ideal candidate would have Anatomic Pathology experience as well as IT experience. Familiarity with Cerner CoPath is a plus
We are responsible for CoPath, ClockwiseMD, Cerner Outreach Operations, Lifepoint and EMR-LIS or LIS-LIS interfaces. Successful candidate will be involved in the support effort for multiple software applications as well as AP and interface projects. Time will be approximately 50% support and 50% project based. Successful candidate should be familiar with Anatomic Pathology. Experience with HL7 language is a definite plus. Successful candidate will be involved in Anatomic Pathology project planning, implementation and support as well as providing support for our other applications.. Strong computer skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are required, and familiarity and experience with Microsoft’s suite of applications is preferred. Successful candidate will participate in break/fix/maintenance support rotation in addition to project implementations.
