As a key contributor to awareness of the IU Health brand, the Senior Marketing Associate manages the development and extension of brand architecture. The position supports the achievement of strategic marketing objectives for obstetrics/gynecology, driving top of the funnel growth.

Key activities:

  • Manages the development and extension of IU Health’s brand architecture across the organization. Support the implementation of new signage standards, and work with partners to extend the brand architecture across digital platforms.
  • Partners with key stakeholders and business units, including the IU Health Foundation, to extend the brand to, and infuse the brand within, all areas of the organization.
  • Supports the achievement of strategic business unit marketing objectives for obstetrics/gynecology through the development and execution of effective brand plans.
  • Identifies and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Provides support for the development of marketing materials, including creative direction and copy development, to effectively represent the services, brand, and organization to target audiences.
  • Supports content creation and identifies opportunities to amplify key messages through a variety of channels, and measures/reports results.
  • Responsible for research and competitive analysis for marketing projects.
  • Works with other functional areas to collect information collaborate, and communicate plans and results.
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders in support of business objectives, providing excellent service and support.
  • Other projects and areas of focus may be assigned as needed. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, critical thinker, highly organized, resourceful and a strong communicator and collaborator, with keen attention to detail, the ability to manage projects with sound methodologies and the desire to pursue a career in healthcare for a mission-driven organization. The marketing, experience and communication organization at IU Health is comprised of many different teams and focus areas, including system and service line marketing, regional marketing, digital marketing, patient experience, research and analytics, social media, internal and corporate communications, and public relations, which offers many unique opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.   • Bachelors Degree Required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Journalism, or healthcare-related field preferred. Experience in a healthcare related industry preferred. Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus . Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions.
